Composite Systems, Inc. has participated in a variety of projects both standard and custom in nature. This diversity has given us experience in design and implementation of the latest in advance manufacturing technology.

This custom 5 axis robot was designed to apply proprietary coatings to the ID of solid fuel rocket engines. This intrinsically safe robot was controlled using Adept's motion control system.

This system was designed to modify and re-fabricate roll formed I-beams using 4 OTC Daihen robots employing quick change endeffectors for both plasma cutting and MIG welding tasks. The total system was 500' (ft) in length.

This specially designed, self-powered, hydraulic articulating endeffector was developed to lift and place 3000lb glass walls via a staggered, redundant, vacuum system.  It was capable of side-to-side, pitch and rotate motion.

This Staubli based system incorporated an offset, cantilevered robot sled. The robot and track were integrated into a 'virtual manufacturing' environment to tend a CMM, CNC mill, CNC lathe and automatic deburr station. Programming and cell operation was performed via satellite from a remote location.

This Fanuc 8 axis gantry robot was designed to fit in a metal fabrication shop on the 4th floor of a high rise building in New York City. It was equipped with tip and torch cleaning and wire cut station. It was designed to be portable and expandable. It performed the welding of stairway and hand railing components, among other things, for buildings.
